FAQ - Configuring blubell

Q: Will all my Skype contacts will be available in blubell ?

A: Yes, all your current Skype contacts including Skype-out contacts will be available in blubell, as the application automatically imports all your Skype contacts

Q: How can I insert/ change/ delete a new contact ?

A: Every time you will insert/ change/ delete a Skype contact, blubell synchronizes with Skype automatically and keeps your contact list up to date. Please remember to set new voice tags when you add more people.

Q: How can I pair a different headset ?

A: Please set your headset in pairing mode as instructed in your headset manual or on the manufacturer's website. From the blubell application settings, select the pairing wizard and follow the instructions.

Q: I have a stereo headset and I'm having troubles using it with blubell. What can I do ?

A: When you pair your device, please make sure to select the headset profile when the pairing wizard asks you to select the HEADSET services you would like to use.

Q: Why do I get the message "Your Bluetooth device (dongle) or Bluetooth stack app is not available"(….) ?

A: Before you start blubell you need to connect a Bluetooth USB dongle or Bluetooth device to your computer. If you have already done this, please ensure it is correctly connected and compatible with blubell

Q: I do not find a Bluetooth audio device on my "Application settings". Why ?

A: Probably you just have installed Bluetooth on your computer, please check if installation was successful. Double click on the Bluetooth icon and a "Initial Bluetooth configuration wizard" will be opened. After you have configured Bluetooth, reopen blubell

Q: Should I speak in a special way when setting voice tags ?

A: Please ensure there is no background noise, speak clearly in a natural voice and try to avoid names and terms of other voice tags as this can reduce the recognition rate

Q: After defining a voice tag, can I change it ?

A: To change a contact's voice tag, select the contact and select the option 'record'. After recording the new tag you can check it by clicking 'play'. You can re-record as many times as you like

Q: Will my settings be kept after performing an update ?

A: Yes, please make sure that the option ‘Remove all profile data' is not selected

Q: Can I keep my application settings after uninstall ?

A: Yes, but you need to make sure that the option "Remove all profile data" is not selected
