General: A stylish headset from Nokia available in either attractive black or white finishes with some silver detailing.

Pairing: The Nokia BH-700 is always in pairing mode. Other than turning the headset on, it requires no user intervention: It even pairs while charging. Through the entire testing, the Nokia did not fail to pair a single time; truly remarkable, top notch performance.

Sound quality: Occasionally people we spoke to on the BH-700 would comment on the sound quality they received. Incoming sound however was generally adequate. In summary though, this is not the best audio performer we have experienced.

Physical fit: Simply outstanding! Nokia’s experience in headset manufacture really shows through with best-in-class easy up/down, left/right ear adjustments at hand. The earpiece may appear big, but in use after about 10 minutes you simply don’t feel it’s there – until blubell rings!

Range: Maximum unobstructed range we achieved with our class 1 dongle was an acceptable 10 meters.

Accessories: The BH-700 comes with a charger and a handy neck-strap so you can leave the headset hanging when not in use. We did miss a USB charging capability though and a desk-stand would have been nice too.
